Chapter 103 – Ginny Finds Her Harry Potter
(HP Chapter 17)

Draco was stunned, horrified, and frozen in shock. This pointed to his condition at the very end of the Great Work as well. Both Draco and his father were good at talking the talk, but neither will be able to walk the walk. Being born into a pure Wizard bloodline didn’t automatically make you a Great Wizard. Nor does being assigned to Slytherin mean you will remain in darkness. It is simply a state of being.

The lesson for us is that many times, it is the least likely (in this case, Neville Longbottom) who will repent and have the strength and stamina to return Home. We cannot judge according to outward appearance who has the ability to stand up to Voldemort and overcome that part of his self and who does not.

Dumbledore clapped his hands. “We need a change of decoration.” This mirrored the physical changes that occur during Transformation.

Ancient Alchemists believed physical perfection was a part of the Art. In a single instant, the Green hangings became Red and the Silver turned to Gold. Harry had become the Red Stone. Except…Harry and Professor Snape are One, so the huge Slytherin serpent also vanished, and a towering Gryffindore Lion (Professor Snape’s True Self) took its place.

According to C. G. Jung, the Lion is a stage in Mercurius’ transformation. It’s the warm-blooded form of a creature that first appeared as a Dragon. Generally, the Lion succeeds the Dragon’s Death and dismemberment.

Harry watched Professor Snape shake Professor McGongall’s hand, but to Harry he appeared to have a horrible, forced smile. Harry was allowing his imagination to run away with him. He thought he knew what was in Professor Snape’s mind, but he didn’t. This is common among conditioned man. He thinks he Knows. He thinks he can read minds, but it’s only a fantasy.

Professor Snape caught Harry’s eye, and at that second, Harry knew that Snape’s feelings toward him hadn’t changed even a little, but he wasn’t worried about it. Life would be back to normal when he returned to Hogwarts in the fall. In addition to reading minds, Harry believed he could tell the future. He knew how things ought to be, so that’s what he expected next year to be like. This sets him up for the disappointment he experiences when things don’t happen in the way he expected them to.

Harry considers this to be the best night of his life. It felt better than winning a Quidditch Game, better than Christmas, and better than knocking out mountain trolls…he would never, ever forget this night. Jo was giving us a quick peek into Harry’s major conditioning issues he will have to begin to face in Book 2. They are serious obstructions to obtaining the Stone.

In all of the excitement of winning the House Cup, Harry had forgotten about his final exams. The feast wasn’t the end of the school year. There were still tests to take, but Harry and his friends passed with good marks. Hermione, of course, had the highest marks of all of the first year students. Even Neville managed to squeak by since his aptitude for Herbology made up for his low Potions grade.

The kids were hoping that Goyle would fail his tests and be thrown out of school, but that didn’t happen. Harry felt disappointed because Goyle was mean to kids (disappointment always means that we have failed to reach some ideal), but accepted his passing scores because as Ron said, you can’t have everything in life.

After their bags were packed, Neville’s toad was found lurking in a corner of the toilets. That’s what happens as we clear out our major false personalities. The ones left become more subtle and get better at hiding themselves in the dirty corners of our mind.

Notes were given to the students warning them that they were not allowed to use magic over the summer holiday, and then Hagrid took them back to the train. Clearing out the false aspects of our self isn’t magic. It’s logic, a mental activity as Hermione said. As the train sped past Muggle cities and towns, the kids enjoyed each other’s company, talking, laughing, and eating Every Flavor Beans until they arrived at King’s Cross station.

Leaving the train didn’t happen quickly. It took quite a while for them all to get off the platform. A wise old guard was only allowing the kids to go through the gate in twos and threes, so as not to attract attention from the Muggles. This cautions us that we cannot eliminate all of our false personalities in a day or two. It will take time to find them all and help them un-board.

In addition, Jo seemed to insinuate that the false personalities move through the solid wall of Platform 9-3/4 and out into the world as they are released. This was similar to what those in spiritual healing circles teach. Once we don’t need a spiritual weapon or entity anymore, they do not die. They simply move on to help another lost soul.

Ron wanted Harry and Hermione to come and stay at his house for part of the summer. That helped ease some of the stress Harry was feeling about returning to the Dursleys. It gave him something to look forward to. Despite his popularity in the Wizarding World, he had absolutely no fame at home. At that point, Harry, Ron, and Hermione passed through the gate together.

“There he is, Mom, there he is, look!” Ginny said excitedly. “Harry Potter! Look, Mom! I can see –“

Mrs. Weasley didn’t understand a single thing that Ginny was telling her. Ginny appeared to be simply a young girl with a crush on Harry Potter. She’s ten (suggesting that she’s on the Middle Path). Mom’s reaction was to ignore her pleas to LOOK and SEE. Most of us do the same thing when it comes to Ginny because we’re looking for that special spark and chemical reaction of Eros that the world has taught us is Love.

Ginny was excited because she had found her True Self. She had found her Harry Potter. She could see him and wanted her mom to find him and see him too. She wanted to scream her discovery from the housetops, but mom simply told her to be quiet. “It’s rude to point.” Rude in the eyes of the world, but also, rude in the eyes of many who think they know.

At that point, Uncle Vernon interrupted them. “Ready, are you?” His mind was as disorganized as Harry’s was, but that’s no surprise. In Harry’s perspective his uncle was still purple-faced, mustached, and furiously looking at him for carrying an owl through a station full of ordinary people. Harry’s perspective was accurate. Uncle Vernon really was doing those things. He was looking at Harry, but he didn’t have eyes to see or ears to hear.

Aunt Petunia and Dudley stood behind Vernon. They felt the same way Vernon did, but unlike Ginny, they looked terrified to “see” Harry. They can see him, but at this point in their development, they are afraid of him. Mrs. Weasley didn’t understand their reaction. She tried to be friendly, but Vernon simply told Harry to hurry up, and walked away from her.

Hermione was shocked. She wasn’t sure if Harry was going to have a good holiday or not, but Harry told her that he had a plan. His relatives didn’t know that he was not allowed to use magic at home. “I’m going to have a lot of fun with Dudley this summer…” In conditioned man, the abused often turns into the abuser when the situation changes
